I am passionate about drawing, and color is essential to me, which leads me to question the line between drawing and painting. I’m searching for a deeper understanding of composition and composing with color, studying Bonnard again by way of Piero della Francesca.

The human figure has been a focus of my work for a long time, especially the figure in an interior. Sometimes that is a real or imagined or remembered room, sometimes a garden. For me, the drawing itself becomes an interior which is a poem as well as a place.
